Sussex County Community College joins the 'Feed the Future' campaign during Hunger Action Month to address student food insecurity in NJ. |

Sussex County Community College (SCCC)) has joined the statewide initiative Feed the Future: Fight Student Hunger to address food insecurity among New Jersey's community college students.
Launched during National Hunger Action Month in September, this campaign is a collaborative effort involving New Jersey's Community Colleges, the Future Alumni Support Team (FAST), and the New Jersey Council of County Colleges (NJCCC).
With 39% of New Jersey community college students reporting food insecurity, SCCC is committed to ensuring that students can focus on their studies without the burden of hunger.
The campaign encourages community support through donations, which can be made directly via the online platform Spotfund.com.
Contributions will help fund food pantries, meal programs, and other support services on campus.
Located at 1 College Hill Road, Newton, NJ, SCCC invites residents, alumni, and local businesses to participate in this vital effort.
For more information, contact the college at (973) 300-2100 or visit sussex.edu. |
