The Sparta High School girls tennis team delivered an impressive performance on September 27, achieving a decisive 5-0 shutout against Lenape Valley.

 

This victory elevates the Spartans' season record to 10 wins and 3 losses.

In the First Singles match, Sara Schwarz showcased her dominance with a flawless 6-0, 6-0 win.

 

Her precision and control left her opponent with no opportunities to score.

 

The Second Singles match featured a thrilling comeback by Layla Boohoff, who overcame a first-set loss to secure a 5-7, 6-3, 10-6 victory.

 

Her resilience and strategic play turned the tide in her favor.

 

In First Doubles, the duo of Maureen Gaines and Emilie Fagen displayed excellent teamwork, winning their match 6-3, 6-1.
